Petco Park ?100 Park Boulevard · San Diego · 92101?(Enter through the gate at 10th and K)Supporting Jewish Single Parents invites you and your family to a fun-filled afternoon at the San Diego Padres Game against the New York Mets! This will be a great way for everyone to cheer on our hometown baseball team on a beautiful San Diego summer afternoon. SJSP will be sitting together in stadium seats this year (section 121)! As an added bonus, this game includes Jr. Padre Sunday Signings where Padre Players will be signing autographs before this game in the Park in the Park (the grassy hillside located just beyond center field). Please bring a picnic lunch, and sunscreen. Food and sealed water bottles (20 oz. or less) are allowed inside Petco Park.
Admission to SJSP at the Padres Game is $10 per person. (Original cost was $28.25 per person; SJSP is taking care of the rest!) Tickets have been purchased and will be provided on a first come first served basis. Tickets will be mailed to you upon payment. The Jewish Family Service Food Pantry offers food bags to those in need due to the homelessness, financial difficulties, transitional issues and/or other crisis issues. Food bags are available to any person regardless of race, age or religion. The Food Pantry contributes to the well-being of the general community as well as helping those in the Jewish community in times of need.

Any individual is eligible to receive food bags from the JFS Food Bank. Any person interested in receiving food must fill out an Emergency Food Assistance Intake Form.

The Tuition Incentive Program (T.I.P.) is sponsored by the Jewish Federation of San Diego County and designed to provide tuition assistance to unaffiliated families who are interested in enrolling their child in a congregational school and for the family to find a home in a synagogue. The program is open to one child per family (grade K-4). The family pays $360 in synagogue dues, the synagogue covers the remaining membership fee, and T.I.P. covers the school tuition for one year. Children will be immersed in a camp where learning is a celebration of experimentation, self-expression, friendship, and FUN! Within a nurturing Jewish environment, our teaching staff will weave engaging language and math activities, exciting themes of exploration and adventure with traditional summertime fun.

Parents and tots will develop new friendships as they enjoy weekly themes incorporating movement exercises, sensory play, art experiences and music with Craig Parks. We will celebrate Shabbat each week with songs, schmoozing and Challah, too.

Each class is a new adventure for your little kinder to shake, rattle and roll while gaining confidence on their feet. We will have parachute time, innovative curriculum designed to develop fine and gross motor skills, music, movement, singing and dancing with Craig Parks.  

Kahal Am: Humanistic Jewish Community of San Diego

Israeli cultural classes and programs for Children, Hebrew speaking playgroup, and Family Holiday Celebrations. Some activities are offered in English and some in Hebrew, with an emphasis on maintaining the connection to Israel and Jewish education through an Israeli lens. Public school Hebrew Enrichment also available for K-6 in Del Mar and Solana Beach schools. Welcome materials for newcomers available.
