About the Alumni Association

It seems like just yesterday we were swimming with our friends in the Friedenberg Pool, singing camp songs, playing Ga-Ga in the beautiful sunshine, or heading out on a field trip to explore the exciting activities San Diego has to offer. No matter what activity our group focused on, we spent our summers at Camp Jaycee with smiles on our faces and no cares in the world!

Now we find ourselves thinking, "What ever happened to so-and-so from Camp Jaycee? I wonder what all those friends I made at camp are doing now..."

Good news: we're reconnecting! The newly-formed Camp Jaycee Alumni Association wants to make it easy to find those long-lost summer friends. Join us for networking opportunities and socializing - we've created a Facebook page where you can share photos, swap stories, and relive all those magical memories. And keep an eye out for our exciting Alumni events, where you'll have the opportunity to meet up with other Camp Jaycee Alumni and reminisce about yesteryear.

It's time to dig up your Camp Jaycee spirit and join the Alumni Association today — we can't wait to reconnect!

JCamp 180 Matching Grant

JCamp 180, a program of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, has selected Camp Jaycee to participate in a matching grant program for Jewish day camps! All funds raised will be partially matched by the Foundation, with the potential of raising $35,000 in matching grants for Camp Jaycee.

Committing to a generous gift of $2,500 or more makes Camp Jaycee eligible for the JCamp 180 matching grant (payable over 3 years — that's just $833 a year). Support Camp Jaycee today and know that your donation will ensure a magical, memorable, and formative experience for the next generation of campers.

For more info or to make a donation, please contact Diane Voit: 858.362.1335 or dianev@lfjcc.org.
