Financial Assistance at the Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center (JCC)

We are pleased to offer financial assistance for programs and activities at the Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center (JCC), thanks to the generosity of our community's philanthropic supporters. Our goal is to ensure that all members have access to enriching opportunities, regardless of financial circumstances. By removing barriers to participation, we aim to create an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.

Important Information:

  • JCC Membership Required: A current LFJCC membership is required to receive financial assistance.

  • Annual Applications: Financial assistance awards are made on an annual basis. A new application must be submitted each year.

  • Program Registration: To apply for financial assistance for Camp Jaycee or Nierman Preschool, your child must already be registered for the program.

  • Eligibility for International Students: Financial assistance is not available for international students.

  • Application Deadlines:

    • For Nierman Preschool and Camp Jaycee, applications are due by March 15, 2025.

    • Applications received after this date will only be considered if funding is available.

Publicly Funded Financial Assistance – Alternative Payment Program (APP)

If you are applying for financial assistance for Nierman Preschool, Camp Jaycee, Club J, or Holiday and Seasonal Camps, you may also be eligible for the Alternative Payment Program (APP), a California state initiative that helps with partial program costs. 

To qualify, your family’s gross monthly income must meet the income guidelines outlined in the table below.

  • Gross Monthly Income refers to the total income your family earns before taxes. For self-employed individuals, this is your income after business expenses are deducted.
