What is The Afterparty?

The Afterparty is a thank you and a celebration of our incredible community philanthropists who have dedicated their time, treasure, talent, and ties that have shaped the Lawrence Family JCC. This year, we’re dropping the traditional gala formalities and skipping straight to the fun, with 90s-inspired appetizers, cocktails, desserts, and an exclusive concert that’ll bring you right back to the years of the boy band craze.

What’s new this year?
First, there will be a community Havdalah to mark the end of Shabbat. Second, there will be no sit-down dinner. Appetizers, drinks, and desserts will flow throughout the entire evening. Third, there will be NO paddle raise for Financial Assistance. Fundraising for Financial Assistance is taking place before our event, so The Afterparty is a true celebration of philanthropy and a thank you to our community members who continue to support our JCC. What’s the dress code:
90s Cocktail - think less Romy & Michelle, and more Princess Di’s revenge dress.

I’d like to pay through my donor-advised fund - how do I do that?
If you’re making a donation through a donor-advised fund, please send your donation to LFJCC with a designation to The Afterparty.

What parking arrangements are available at the venue?
Complimentary valet is available for guests at the VMA’s, MTV’s Spring Break, Total Request Live, and The Real World levels. The valet space is limited; please consider ride-share services or driving in groups. If you wish to self-park, free public parking lots are located across the street. Click here to see the map.
