Rev. Cassie Carroll: Head Pastor at Palisades Presbyterian Church
Rev. Cassie Carroll became Head Pastor at Palisades Presbyterian Church in San Diego on July 1, 2022, after her ordination in the PC(USA) on June 18, 2022. She holds a Master of Divinity from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology (2016).
Passionate about helping others see the Divine in everyday life, Cassie values church as a community of faith and love. She is excited to begin this new chapter in San Diego with her husband, Andrew, and their dog, Emma, as they settle into life at Palisades Presbyterian Church.

Rev. Richard Hogue: St. Paul’s Cathedral Episcopal
Rev. Richard Hogue grew up in the Episcopal Diocese of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, attended Wabash College, and served as a missionary in South Africa. After returning to the U.S., he worked with the Episcopal Diocese of Newark before attending seminary in Berkeley, where he met his wife, Maura. Ordained in 2016, he served at St. Andrew's in Encinitas, then Holy Cross in Carlsbad, and now St. Paul's in San Diego.

Rev. Trudy Robinson: Lead Pastor at First United Methodist Church of San Diego
Rev. Trudy has served in ministry for over 25 years in Colorado and Wyoming before coming to San Diego. An ordained United Methodist elder, she shares a message of grace, hope, and inclusivity, embracing John Wesley’s belief that “there is no holiness apart from social holiness.”
Since becoming Lead Pastor of First United Methodist Church of San Diego in January 2020—just weeks before the pandemic—she and church leadership reimagined church for a new era, offering inspiration, flexibility, and opportunities to make a difference anywhere.
Outside of church, she enjoys snuggling her pets, listening to music, and FaceTiming her grandchildren—her happiest moments are planning visits with them.

Rabbi Devorah Marcus
Rabbi Devorah Marcus has served as Senior Rabbi at Temple Emanu-El since 2013, continuing her grandparents' legacy as founding members. Her leadership focuses on building sacred community (Kehillah Kedosha), love for Israel (Ahavat Yisrael), social justice (Tikkun Olam), human dignity (Btzelem Elohim), and passing down Jewish traditions (L’dor Vador).
Ordained by HUC-JIR in 2008, she holds a Master’s in Hebrew Letters and a BA from Bradley University. A dedicated leader, she has served as President of the San Diego Rabbinic Association and sits on the Executive Board of PARR. She also advocates for LGBTQ+ inclusive, evidence-based sexual education on San Diego Unified’s Sexual Health Education Advisory Committee.
